Anmol Kalha graduated from one of the prestigious universities in India in 1976 with a gold medal and university Roll of Honor for his academic achievements. He went on to receive his master’s degree in Orthodontics with outstanding achievement in 1990 from Bombay University, also the highest possible grading in the Advanced Course in Orthodontics from the Armed Forces medical College India. He is also the recipient of the Gen Master Memorial Silver Medal. He has subsequently been a fellow at the Karl Eberhardt University, Tubingen, has received advanced training in Lingual orthodontics at Bad Essen , Germany. He has also visited at and been associated with the Centre for Evidence Based medicine and Dentistry at Oxford, UK. A distinguished speaker and teacher he has had the privilege to a lecture in over 53 counties and universities around the globe
A career spanning 4 decades in academics, public health policy and administration, clinical practice, research and policy, his work has been recognized and awarded by FDI, SDFDS for contributions to Military Dentistry and Oral Health Sciences, Awarded the IOS oration 2017, The KK Mistry Scroll of honor by the Indian Orthodontic Society 2023. He has served on the Executive of the IOS for Over a decade, The Asia Pacific Orthodontic Society, founder member of the Lingual Orthodontic Society, The Indian academy of Dental Sleep medicine are a few notable ones. Published and written extensively, has been on the editorial board of several prestigious journals such as EBD UK, EAPD, Stomatology Edu. a reviewer and referee for several other.
