Abstract
In oral rehabilitation, it is essential to achieve functional balances for our rehabilitations to have a good outcome. Typically, dentistry has sought this balance only locally, i.e., within the stomatognathic system. However, durable balances cannot be achieved if this system is in functional conflict with the rest of the body.
Therefore, it is crucial to seek a centered position of the mandible and a neuromuscular vertical dimension that is harmonious with the rest of the organism. Posturology, and primarily clinical posturometry, helps us achieve this by teaching us to work with interdisciplinary and holistic protocols. A fundamental instrument is the POSTUROMETER, which allows us to diagnose and find this balanced position with the body. In this webinar, I will show how this can be done, in addition to covering the basic concepts of posturology and clinical posturology.
