Dr. Blum Stanislav graduated a MDs in 2002 from Pavlov First Saint Petersburg State Medical University (Saint-Petersburg, Russia) and received orthodontics degree in 2004. Since 2004 he has had private practice in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. From 2004 till 2017 he lectured in Pavlov First Saint Petersburg State Medical University to dental students. Since 2008 year he has focused on functional approach in orthodontic treatment. His started with traditional gnathology and moved to orofacial pain management, myofunctional therapy and neuromuscular dentistry. Form more than 9 years he has used EMG in orthodontic practice for every patient and has the biggest EMG database of dental patients in Russia now. In 2014 he composed the “Airway octagon” – Cephalometric analysis of airway with risk assessment of OSA. He has participated in numerous scientific conferences as a lecturer, and he is the author of more than 40 articles in professional dental journals.
