Abstract
Obstructive sleep apnea is a common disease that is not diagnosed in 90% of cases. Among the many causes of this disease, dental causes include underdevelopment of the cranial skeleton, malocclusion, and narrowing of the jaws. This presentation focuses on the increased role of dentists in the detection, prevention, and treatment of obstructive sleep apnea.
