Traumeel® and its use in the general dental practice setting

Abstract
Homeopathy has many uses within the dental practice alongside our conventional practice. The art of homeopathy is trying to match a remedy up to the individual patient and what they are experiencing at any one time. This takes skill and time to analyse and prescribe which is not always conducive to using homeopathy regularly in daily practice. However, there are complexes where multiple remedies are given in a single dose. One such complex is Traumeel® which has a range of applications that are particularly suited to a busy general dental practice. This session will look at what properties this complex has to help the oral health of our patients and look at the research and evidence that is available.
